So I have a cpe pro 2 that I bought online, it's locked to three I go to ip and it says it's sim locked, I put three sim in it works fine, put ee says sim locked. The seller has been great he's contacted three they keep saying it's unlocked, then he tried online chat they gave the puk code but when I try type that in the save button is still greyed out? I have 10 attempts left?? Anyone had this issue?

they gave the puk code
PUK is needed when you forgot your SIM card PIN and the card is locked.
PUK is 8 digits long, if some button is greyed out, I suspect more digits are expected to be provided.
Does your EE SIM have a PIN lock active?

You need the device unlock code, it’s not relayed to the sim lock requiring PUK, it’s saying it’s locked to Three as a network, therefore EE won’t work.

You need to ask Three for the device unlock code to use it with other networks.

Three have notoriously in the past failed to give or even have unlock codes for their Huawei devices.

That being said, I think I managed to get a code after pushing on the complaints team.

*However these devices are not supposed to be in the public domain unless attached to a Mobile Broadband contract so good look to anyone that wasn't even the purchasing customer.

As you see I have asked and they said it's unlocked when I gave the imei but I assume they are just talking crap as it says it's sim locked
