Time now to decide.

Out of those three, I'd go with the Asus.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is to check whether the panels have decent colour reproduction. Cheap panels often only do 6-bit colour range while the more expensive panels do an 8-bit colour range. I did have a look but couldn't find out how many bits your panels are ...

I'd pick the Samsung too if you can extend your cash that little bit further, they really do make excellent displays. Either them or see if Hyundai have a cheaper 19" knocking about because they use the same Samsung LCD panels but usually cost a little less.

However you should avoid Hanns-G because while their desktop contrast is very good, anything with 3D and some video can end up looking a bit washed out as they seem to ramp the brightness/contrast balance too much. In short, they hurt my eyes.

Of the three you list, Kits, Get the Ausus.

After a change of plans plus some advice from someone I know will only consider the best I am looking at buying amsung SM2032BW 20"TFT Monitor Widescreen 1680x1050 3000:1 300cd/m2 2ms http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132115

plus I might have found it cheaper with a deal :D

mmm

DROOOOOL!

Must be good to get Kits to part with money!

(ducks for cover)

I think you're right Kits, a nice monitor is essential for a great computing experience (not to mention being good for your eyesight). I won't mention the size of my dual monitor setup ... ;)

I am very happy with my Hyundai "Blue H" 22", so my only real advice would be to avoid ebuyer, they ripped me off a few years ago, over a duff Freeview DVR; it took me 6 months to get a refund out of them, and even then I did not get the postage back from returning it.
Pay a bit extra and get it from a store with a decent returns policy.
