Today's launch 60 new birds

They're not kidding around, kudos to them. That's quite a feat at any time, let alone during a pandemic and recession.

On the other hand, watching Elon push them up so fast can only mean they expect a heck of a return, it'll be a cash cow. I guess it's a win-win. :)

Yes I'm sure it will be Lucian, hopefully the new cheaper packages won't be too crippled when they eventually arrive.

Unless my 5G arrives first, then Elon won't be getting any of my pennies. :giggle:

Guess what happened a few hours ago folks? :D

Latest Starlink Mission

Only 52 Starlink satellites this time, as they included another 2 Sats for clients.

Just to say a big thanks for this. I'm seriously considering this as we have 3-6mbps at our new house in Norfolk, no 4G and a pretty disgruntled family. I will be playing catch up now to watch this guys vids.

Interestingly in his latest video, he mentioned that FTTP is now coming to his area, will be interesting to see if he ditches Starlink once FTTP is available (cheaper and faster).

Another 53 Starlink sats are being launched later today folks.
(Weather permitting)

The stream will no doubt be live onYouTube if you want to watch that cool booster return routine.

I never get tired of watching that.

I'll post the link when it becomes available later on folks. ☺️

Yes latest heavier versions Pheasant, thats how the payload is only 52 instead of 60 now.

Yeah ofc I googled it after I wrote that , and they've been "laser enabled" since September? I presume it's not active then ?

There’s no doubt a minimum number of bird they need before it’s technically/operationally feasible.

I believe that OneWeb will be doing similar.

Anyone remember when Ronnie announced the StarWars program 🤣
