Today's launch 60 new birds

It's interesting to note that the starlink reddit forum seems to be full of complaints lately. Increase in pings, several outages, large speed drops. It seems most of them are not in Europe though. It would be really cool to find out what it's like in Europe right now.

One commenter in a thread said something that stood out. That rural users were praising it, and people in cities without good broadband were not as impressed. Stands to reason I suppose.
Yeah was never meant to be a city utilised service dabigm, sounds a bit like here, with only 1 three 4G mast serving the whole of my town, not good. 😁

The instantaneous launch window is at 6:39 p.m. PT (01:39 UTC on Monday, July 11), and a backup opportunity is available on Monday, July 11 at 6:39 p.m. PT (01:39 UTC on Tuesday, July 12).

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, and three Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage will return to Earth and land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.


Hi folks, as usual just posting details about the next Starlink launch for anyone who may like to watch.

Only 46 satellites this time instead of the usual 53.

The launch isn't until Monday, so we're nice snd early this time.

It's a 2.30 am launch, so will be handy for any insomniacs out there.😊

The instantaneous launch window is at 10:50 a.m. ET (14:50 UTC), and a backup opportunity is available on Monday, July 18 at 10:28 a.m. ET (14:28 UTC).

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Dragon’s first crew demonstration mission, the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, SXM-7, and nine Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will return to Earth and land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Three seems to be a bit of a pattern, 46 from Cali and 52/53 from Florida.

Although I haven’t scanned back very far. 🙈
