I've got a TP LINK MR6400 with a Lebara SIM (Vodafone). I've downloaded the BETA Firmware in this link, which enables me to manually select the band.

I've checked bands 1,7 & 20 for the best download speeds and band 1 gives me the best speed, so I've set the router to search for the band manually using band 1 as the search criteria.
What I'm finding is the router will periodically switch bands without warning quite often switching to band 8 (which isn't even an option when choosing the band manually) and this band is slow.
To get back to band 1, I am having to reboot the router to restart the search, which is frustrating (although it does work).
Does anyone know if there is any way to restrict the router from switching bands, so I don't have to keep going through this process please?
