FYI, the Parental controls work just the same as on the VR600.

You know you could just use OpenDNS child friendly DNS settings - will work a treat on pretty much any brand of router (not 100% safe though as with any solution work around a exists)

The operating system for your computer or tablets usually also have parental controls.

I know about the Open DNS control panel, but wanted to specifically limit HER PC, and the living room TV during certain times; and be able to easily change them if she needed access for school work.

Strangely, 24 hours later it started working (unlike on the earlier model). It seems it will only trigger a control event at the start time you set; so if you set a cut off for 9am til 5pm; and it is already 9:01; it wont cut in until 9am the following day.

However the Router has also become increasingly unstable; and now need a hard reboot EVERY day; as both ethernet and both Wifi frequencies decided they cannot identify themselves randomly.

A Fritzbox is on order; and after a long run, my time with TPL is at an end, after three VDSL router failures in less than 2 years.
