Transfering Broadband from ADSL to FTTC Question

Hi,

I am in the process of transferring broadband from my old provider (ADSL) to a new one (FTTC). I have an old face plate socket, so assuming I have to keep using the old plug in filters?

However I notice that my new provider has a status update stating "awaiting confirmation from our suppliers your order has completed".

How long does the above take for OpenReach (I assume) to confirm an order as its been like this now for over 24hrs?

The old plug-in filters should work, but ISPs often ship a new filter if they bundle a router to you. Sometimes an engineer may be needed if it's a SOGEA install and the new NTEC5 master socket has to be fitted, but I don't know what ISP/package you've taken?

The ISP should have given you an activation date? After which you can plug in the new FTTC/VDSL2 supporting router.
