Trivial question for Mark

I noticed a few members, myself included, are assigned the "0" rank/tier in the forum. (The correct technical term escapes me)

Is my contribution really that bad? 😂

Let's be honest, it's not a trivial question. It's a matter of life and....

...oooh what's that white rabbit 🤣

This is some kind of bug. Meatball reported it too. Looks like it was introduced with the most recent XenForo patch. For some reason, a number of members end up with a '0' or '1' being added to the 'Custom title' field (likely to be triggered by some obscure condition), which would normally be blank.

I can easily fix this by removing the 0 or 1 manually, but the cause is still elusive. It might also be a PHP 8.x related issue with their latest update, since that caused some oddball things with legacy code Boolean (true/false) handling.

I could run a query on the database to batch-resolve this, but as it's not a breaking change then I'd rather wait for the next update to see if they patch it.

I thought that's what it would be. 😊

In other words.. I'm "special". Knew it! 😇

I would wager PHP8 is at play here. A few other forums have been forced to go to PHP8 and there's quite a bit of collateral damage.

Hope you've noticed your not special any more Brumski. :giggle: (y)
