Welcome to your NIGHTMARE brought to you by UKOnline thieves, swindlers, con artists and ratbags.http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=96#
UKOnline are thieves, swindlers and scoundrels of the worst sort. They stiffed me for over £200. They do not answer ANY emails to either tech support or accounts. As for the broadband??? I’ve been waiting over 7 months for it and still being charged. It has never worked properly since they connected it two months late. Tonight like many nights it will not connect to the network. Calls to tech support? It just rings with the most horrific background music until the battery in my phone goes flat. Tonight I got through after waiting only 50 minutes but they could do nothing. Just “put a ticket in” which nothing is ever done about.
Previously I had dial up with AOL – don’t laugh, at least it worked – after calling UKOnline thieves about broadband I agreed to go ahead with it. They told me it would take 5 to 10 days, they suggested I cancel my AOL dial up and gave me a free number to use for dial up if it took longer than 10 days and started deducting money for the broadband from my account before it was even connected!! The days turned into weeks and then months and I used the free dial up number they gave me. Imagine my shock when I got a phone bill for over £200!!! It was not free it was 1p per minute. I emailed about this several times and not a single bloody email was answered. 20 or 30 phone calls later I started pushing the buttons at random and got through to provisioning. They told me the exchange was not suitable for broadband and they were waiting for BT to convert it. They were still charging me even though there was no service. I’d been waiting 2 months for a 5 to 10 day connection! Eventually it was converted and then the nightmare started!!! The service sometimes works sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it will connect but the DNS server doesn’t work – in other words it’s about as much use as tits on a bull!
So my experience has been
1. The so called broadband does not work.
2. The stole over £200 from me for “free” dial up.
3. UKOnline thieves swindlers and con artists have no customer service or tech support and do not care about customers.
I would not use UKOnline if they paid me £100 a month. I’m just going through the process of cancelling. It is the worst experience I’ve ever had from any company and that’s saying something when you compare it to NTL or 3 mobile. Whatever you do, stay away from UKOnline thieves and swindlers. You have been warned.
PS Anyone from UKOnline reading this and want to sue me? Please….. Go ahead, make my day! I’d love my day in court with you – this is the abridged story, there’s more than this and I can prove every word of it and you know it.
