i was advised by breathe's call centre that they had a server down which should be fixed in 24 to 48 hours and to call back then, has anyone else had this?

Might just be a coincidence I'm due to go live with sky on 4th April

Yes, I called Breathe this morning and was told to reset my router. I told the guy I had done this several times but he insisted that if I reset it I should be ok. Call back after 10 mins he said.
I knew it woudn't work and had to go through the drawn out procedure of given my details again..long pauses inbetween at their end! He even wanted my login password, which I refused to give.

He then said it was a problem at Breathes end, lot's of Maxsurf customers had issues. Try again in 48 hrs he said.

It's a shame because although I had requested my MAC I was not 100% decided on migrating. This unfortunate 'issue' just as I recieved my MAC has helped make up my mind!

I always get though to the the same Indian guy which asnwers after 1 or 2 rings even, very unusual. There is a data transfer from v21 to biscit I was told which will take 48 hours but no more apprently. Oh well in a wireless sense until then 'Everyone needs good neighbours' don't they ?!

Hey all!

Well, I'm back online :) No access since Sunday up until now though. I called Breathe on Monday afternoon to be told there were no problems at their end. Thanks for that

Oh well, this has helped to make my mind up. I've got my MAC code so I'm off to ADSL24.

See ya later y'all!
