Well I finally got around to upgrading my PC. Kept most of the old system but got a New Case, A new AMD64 processor, a new Motherboard & a new SATA drive. Quite impressed with the AMD Cool & Quite System. It works my PC is a lot quieter
PC Case is a Jenteck Butterfly Black & Grey Job from PC World

Motherboard an ASUS K8N from DABS
CPU AMD64 3000 from DABS (comes with Heatsink & Fan) From Dabs
Hard Disk Seagate SATA 200GB from DABS
Case has plenty of expansion room and neat little black covers which hide the assorted colour CD Drives I have. Does make the ejecting disk a bit noiser
The case also has Mic & Sound card & USB connectors fitted at the front
The K8N mother board has 5 PCI slots so plenty of expansion capability.
It caters for the old legacy PATA Drives with the two IDE Connectors plus it can take two SATA drives. So you can have upto 6 drives fitted.
The MB has 3 DIMM sockets and within reason will cope with most DIMM's
There were a few minor issures getting all the hard drives as they did not automatically get detected and I had to go into the control panel to add them. They also need to be set up in the BIOS.
The Seagate 200Gb hard disk originally only formated to 137Mb. This turned out to be due to my copy of Windows not having SP1 on it. Installing SP1 fixs the problem it then recognises the extra space and you can then format it as another partition.
