Hey guys, I'm new here so hope I'm posting in the right place. I'm looking to see if anyone can give me any help in getting faster uploads from my 5G router. It's a Huawei CPPro on Three and I find the upload speed to be very hit and miss when using it.
The settings page details I've got 100% signal on both 4G and 5G and I'm able to achieve 400Mb+ but my upload speed fluctuates between 1Mb and 30Mb depending on where I put the router... and by where I put the router I mean even moving the router 1mm on my desk can make the upload speed go from 30Mb down to less than 1Mb! Let's say I want to plug an ethernet cable in, if I move the router at all whilst I'm doing it or even so much as twist it slightly, then the upload speed can plummet!
I could totally understand getting different speeds in different rooms or upstairs vs downstairs, but I've never experienced such an issue where the slightest amount of movement can cause speeds to plummet, especially where the router reports a string signal!
It can work fine once for a few days once I've found the correct position, but then it'll randomly fall of a cliff for no reason and I'll have to spend ages trying to find "the sweet spot" again which could just be a case of twisting the router 1' to the left or moving it entirely across the room!
Anyone have any thoughts into this at all? Thanks in advance.
