Using the Huawei B311 as a WiFi extender?

Firstly, is this possible at all?
If so, how would one go about it? I see 'bridge mode' as an option, is this what I need?

I'm not looking for a wired connection, rather just a little boost in the bedroom, err, I mean with the Chromecast in there, as well as our phones, etc.

I've Googled it but I just can't make sense of the results.

My main router is a TP link Archer MR200 and I already have it attached with a TP link WiFi extender in the kitchen and I suppose I could just buy another one but seeing as I have this Huawei router, I'd hope I could put that to use instead.

Cheers.

Hi,

Bridge mode is not what you need. That's to bridge LTE, nothing else.

Don't think it'll work to bridge your existing wifi, rather you could plug a cable from the archer in it then create its own separate wifi network, might work, worth trying.
