UT2003 CD Key is wrong grrrrr

Popped in my UT2003, asked to enter the 20 digit key, error came up, checked, double checked over and over, still not accepted, then counted the digits and it was only 19 digits!!! The freaking legal key on the UT manual is wrong, to prove this I downloaded a UT2003 Keygen, it generated a 20digit key and worked fine.
How peeved am I.
Back to PC world tomorrow I think!

Had a chance to evaluate the full game yet?

How does it compare to the demo version ( I wasn't too impressed with the demo), was it worth the money?

Just curious before I spend out myself.
:D :D :)

I was bit hungover first time I played the demo, but didn't realise quite how nausea inducing it would be. It was all the bobbing up and down, up and down.. almost lost my lunch.

Weapons seemed pretty weak to me too. Could hardly tell when you were firing, and that announcer bloke was doing my head in.

I'm sticking with BF1942 for now.

Shmo have you BF1942 running ok?
Even offline mine is running like its on a P90.
My specs are
P4 1.6
512m DDr
64mb GEforce mx/400
Win XP Home

Using latest nvidia drivers and dont have any problems with MOHAA, Mafia, GTA3 but BF runs bad, really jerky.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Nahh, Bulldog its definatly a misprint one digit missing, u payed £24.99! geez I paid £34.99, just took a look at their site, well cheap, never heard of them b4, but will use them all the time now.
The game however is absolutly amazing, much better tan the demo, and some of the levels (foilage) is my fav, the game just plays beautiful, my only critisism is the voices of the bots, "to gravelly" I feel. Still cant wait to get the proper key and play online. I did note the minimum spec on the box is now a P3 733, im on a p3 1.2 and GF4 440 64meg
With ref to BF1942 this is another amazing game, took a bit to get the hang of, but when I LAN'ed up with my 2 brothers it was awesome

It does get very choppy with 64+ people on server on certain maps - but I think it's the same for everyone.

I've heard lots of complaints about unreasonably low frame rates. I'll list a few of the fixes some people have had luck with..

Latest sound drivers
Enabling/disabling hardware sound
Setting sound to 22khz
Rolling back to earlier video drivers (try the 30.82's)

Can't think of any others at the moment. But you aren't alone, I know several people who have the same problems. It just seems that the game was poorly coded.

UT forums had stuff on cards you really need a better card prices are low on higher spec cards
that is the thing that will make the game so much better and the games to come Dig deep thats the only way take a look at dabs.com for a start

Should take the example from Power DVD serials, I cant read V3 without glasses, V4 has nice BIG friendly text :)

kewl now ya sorted what game play you like?
i like the map Citadel (instagib)

add my ut name to your buddy list

[P*]BullDog^uk (check the caps also <img border="0" alt="[Laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laugh.gif" /> )
look up all servers then then check buddy list see if theres a server name in the right hand side box :)

It's good, mindless fun, but not something I could play for long stretches of time. I've got an Athlon XP 2200+, 512MB DDR RAM and a 128MB Geforce Ti4660, and there's definitely some noticeable slow down even after tweaking. So I'd conclude you need a pretty decent machine to play it properly, ideally one based on an ATI Radeon 9700. It's just a continuation of the demo, really, but obviously with new game modes and maps. If you didn't like the demo, though, I doubt you'd be too keen on the full game.

One problem............my left hand is killing me, I mean why do I have to press the keyboard buttons so hard!...never mind a few mins on the stress ball and it will back to normal
