Hi everyone,
I have EE 80mb fibre broadband, I'm using a HG612 3B with the latest unlocked firmware and an Asus AC68U.
I don't know much about line attenuation etc and I noticed this today:
The amount of HEC errors on upstream is pretty insane, also I have no idea if the SNR is good or not, could someone give me some pointers? I am using the bog standard RJ11 EE provided with their crappy router, I might buy a decent one.
Also, I'd like to know if there's anything in these settings that I could disable as I'm using the HG as a modem only, so, in bridge mode. So, NAT, DHCP, etc all is disabled.
Thanks!
