I know i posted my life about FAST4 but i just had to share this with you also.
Because i will be leaving FAST4 i was looking for an alternative. I saw Virgin were offering 8MB unlimited for 17.99 per month. I thought i'd ring them to find out more.
Virgin Freedom (in case you don't know) is for people who can't / Don't want cable amd they use the existing standard copper wire like BT etc.
Well, the sales assistant informed me that it was completely unlimited and that it was £17.99 per month. Not Bad i thought. But i remembered that on ISP Review it mentions they have a fair use policy.
So i asked if they have a fair use policy. She said "Yes it's 40GB". I said that's a limit and therefore not an unlimited account. She said "It was more than enough for what i'd need per month". I said Maybe, but it's still a limit, therefore not an unlimited account....??? At this point i'm laughing bigstyle.
I thought the use of Fair Policy was bandwidth restriction not GB limit. Am i missing something here?
But she did make me laugh...
