Virgin Media install to a first floor flat?

Hi, I live in a first floor flat but don't currently have a wired internet connection and have been using 4G/5G since moving in 5 months ago.

Virgin Media said they covered my address so I've just booked a broadband install due in a couple of weeks. This morning I was sent the www.virginmedia.com/boundary thing and it all seemed to be questions about digging up the road/paths outside. This has put me off a bit.

I can see a cable coming from a telegraph pole into a box on the side wall of my flat, near the roof. The satellite cable in the 2nd pic below enters my flat just above skirting board level...

Is it just a case of just taking a cable from the wall box that's already there through the wall? If not then it'd need a big ugly cable going all the way up the wall from ground level?

That look's like an Open Reach pole, as far as i know VM connections come from underground.
Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think. I didn't mention it to my landlord as at first I thought it'd be such a minor thing to put a second cable through the wall.

But if they're going to be digging up the road outside etc then I think it's best to cancel.

It would only be the path to your property, unless it's already there, then it's just a case of putting the cable to the property in the ducting and connecting you.

Any houses nearby fed with 2 cables from the poles? (could be Virgin and OR, its what I have) I had the same boundry thing, and I'm fed from a pole, just fill it out, I wouldn't worry too much, seems a very much automated service, not updated for the net PIA network.

You could also enter your information over at https://bidb.uk it'll usually say what your technology is and how its fed.
