Vispa Accounting Issues

Moved to Vispa 8MB Unlimited (ISP Review offer) a short while ago, my findings so far:

Transfering to Vispa was easy enough, all went through fine.

Once connected, there was some speed issues on the line, maxing out at 1MB connection at all time during the day. After a few calls to Vispa, BT was contacted. A week later and full speed was enabled on my line. (Happy boy again)

All has been well for months until about 3 days ago. I received an email from Vispa containing an invoice for "over usage". As I signed up for there unlimited package I knew something was wrong. I connacted Vispa who told me that I was on the 8MB 250 package (with only 25GB p/m usage), and nothing was there about the "IPS Review" offer. On checking the account they found that due to there error is setting up my account, they had not setup the account payments. All my bank details where provided on signup, but since starting with Vispa no money had been taken.

As from this conversation with Vispa the previous unpaid months have now been back charged IN FULL !!. The incorrect charge for over usage has not yet been credited back. At my request for Vispa customer services dept to contact me, I have not heard from them yet.

So in 4 months I have had a good connection on the internet, but have paid for ALL months, plus additional incorrect charges, all 2 WEEKS before christmas.:crap:

MERRY CHRISTMAS VISPA !!!!

Hi gartylad,

We are aware of your issue and you will receive a call from myself on Monday. Unfortunately I was out of the office at the time.

"As from this conversation with Vispa the previous unpaid months have now been back charged IN FULL !!. "

Having had a quick listen to the recorded telephone conversation, upon the error being brought to your attention, an outstanding total was calculated and your authority was given to charge your card during the call. The phone conversation ended.

You then re-called a few minutes later and asked for half to be refunded and the remainder to be paid the following month to which we agreed on the condition that you setup a direct debit to allow us to take payment.

This was not setup as you requested to speak to a supervisor. Otherwise we would have happily fixed the problem there and then.

I can call you now if you wish? You’ll need to pm me your telephone number as I’m at home and cannot access our systems at present!

Sorted

After posting here, and James picking up the problem, all has been resolved.

Back payments are being charged over a period of time, full unlimited has returned.

I was woried about ADSL Max at first, but I'm very close to my exchange 800m, and its been great. Started slow at first 125KB/s, but a couple calls to vispa and a BT line retrain later and I'm currently running at 760KB/s Max with an average of 350KB/s at peak times.

Cheers Vispa, now all accounts are sorted, I'm a happy boy again.
