VM M100: Anyone else getting exactly 137 mbps down and 21 mbps up now?

So post-speed update, I got an extra D3.0 channel on my Hub 3 and I am now getting exactly 137mpbs down and 21 mbps up, done multiple speed tests to my router, all tests within 0.1 mbps of those figures.

It's a little strange because others seem to be reporting 144 mbps down and 22 mbps up. Just curious if anyone else is seeing my figures, I wonder why the disparity. Does it depend on UE, or maybe Virgin have implemented slightly different limits in different areas.

Have checked on a M100 connection I have access to and still only 110/10

Qbcd - you have the same service as me. Well almost.

For M100 customers like us, the Max Traffic Rate seen on the SH3 Configuration page are now 143.75 / 22 Mb/s this is how the subscriber's speed is governed, the results are an internet speed test of about 137/21 Mb/s. (Perhaps this will come to be advertised as a 135/20 service)

M100 used to have Max Traffic Rate of 117/10.5 Mb/s so the new settings have increased by about 25% for down stream and 109% for upstream.

The one difference I see is after VM maintenance work last Friday we still see 4 upstream channels but where they were IDs 1,2,3,4 we now have IDs 3,4,9,10, our CO6 3xx post code area is FTTP built in 2017.

Did you reboot your hub?
No, will do so next time I'm there and see if it picks up.

Is it widespread or just area code specific? It's area code 11 and it's HFC

My hub 3 on VM M200 that I still have access too that gets cancelled tomorrow has went from around 225 down 22 up to this :

I think it's been deployed almost everywhere at this point, officially it goes live Nov 1st, I suspect at that point they will reboot everyone's hubs.

Looks like the speeds have been applied, big jump on the upload.

The faster uploads was the reason I went with the M200 plan when I first joined. 10mbps upload is just too slow for me.

I'm starting to wish I'd dropped down to the M100 package now, the 220mbps (now 275mbps) download is nice, but not really a necessity.

I was thinking of switching to the M200 for that same reason, now I don't have to. The M100 doubled the upload speed whereas the M200 upload only went up by about 30%. So if you care about upload, I don't think it's worth paying for the M200 for only another 6-7 mbps up.

On an unrelated note, what's interesting with the new speeds on M100 is that it really depends on the server when running a Speedtest for Wi-Fi speeds. This wasn't the case before. In London, no matter which server I picked, I always hit 105-108 down and 10 up.

But now there's variance. For instance, if I choose Swish as the server, I hit 135-137 every time, and the arrow jumps to it almost immediately. If I pick Hyperoptic as the server, the arrow goes up slowly and tops out at about 129 mbps. With Upp, I only reach 120mbps. And this is consistent after lots of tests. I wonder why the disparity, I'm sure all of these servers can handle 137 mbps LOL.

But when I test to my Asus RT-AX86U router, they all hit 137 mbps, so this is only with Wi-Fi. I'm on a clear 80 MHz channel with a theoretical link to my PC of 1200 mbps down ax, so I know I'm not being bottlenecked there, it's very strange.

Yeah cool I'm on 100/10 and now getting this

Well our Virgin internet went down for about 30 mins this morning which was extremely annoying, but once it turned back on and everything had reconnected the m200 speedboost had been applied.

lol mine is down right now. Can't wait for youfibre.
Since I got the speed boost my reliability has gone up significantly!

It used to go of every night for about 10 minutes, but since the boost it hasn't. Or at least I haven't noticed it going off, and I've definitely been up between midnight and 3am!
