Vodafone 6E router / CityFibre

This honestly looks amazing compared to what vodafone has been using in Spain and Italy. The Station 6, as they called it, had so many bugs and issues with random reboots etc.
I am suspecting that SFP port is very well suited then to use in these countries.
Did you notice anything related to "PLOAM password" or "ONT registration" in the software @Doofus ? That's how vodafone authenticates on its GPON in Italy, for which it's sufficient in most cases to just get your own ONT and put that in to get O5 status (connected to PON). Not sure what CityFibre would use, but have a look here, might be interesting for everyone ;) GPON wiki on GitHub

I have the filesystem of a CF ONT here somewhere (and we worked out SSH access), but we couldn't get to O5 on another ONT unfortunately. It's something I want to give a go again but don't currently have access to a CF line here :(

Resurrecting the old thread as this device is still the current top line high end router for Vodafone and looks to remain as such with the imminent multi-gig uplift on CityFibre.

The 1G/2.5G port is to the ONT with only two Gigabit LAN ports out.
There is however a SFP socket and have tried both SFP and SFP+ 1G and 10G ethernet transceivers which are seen by the device but non operational.

Seems it is looking for a non generic module. Do Vodafone have such a thing?

No other way to get >1G from the device.
