Keen to learn more, was this O2 host or unwind? If you could share the cellmapper info and/or site pics that would be helpfulI am in Newcastle (o2 host) and great signal when near the mast on Vodafone pulling between 500-800 mbps on n78 50MHz. Has Some recent update with new n78 40MHz, n1 15MHz arrive in the city centre leading to much better speeds on Vodafone. About 10mbps before to now 100 using n78 40MHz at peak time around 4pm. Just patiently waiting for 5g ultra. Probably the network sharing agreement. I wonder if the merger will speed up VF 5g ultra deployment up in the north east.
They did this to me, were going to manually push through the port etc..Well they promised and "Guaranteed" it would be working by this morning......![]()
I double checked with Spusu, my old network. They said once it's been sent to Lebara there is nothing they can do.They did this to me, were going to manually push through the port etc..
So which is the most recent SIM to do the PAC dance without having to topup?
I need to port-out from Voxi and then back to Voxi again.
It's 24/48 working hours for the porting team to do anything if they get their backsides into gear.
Voxi are offering me 'unlimited' for £20 on the 'my plan' page, I was tempted but don't need it.i just got 300gb instead of 100gb for £20
When you get it resolved, Talkmobile aren’t bad, basic service but cheap and the CS is OK.I double checked with Spusu, my old network. They said once it's been sent to Lebara there is nothing they can do.
It's a shame too, the Spusu customer rep was absolutely delightful on the phone and very very helpful.
I want to stick with a Vodafone carrier of some description as the signal and call quality is very good. Lebara themselves are not
Thanks I've just taken the 20gb £5.95 monthly on Talkmobile. When you get it resolved, Talkmobile aren’t bad, basic service but cheap and the CS is OK.
They’re talking rubbish (as per usual) if you can see it in your allowances then it should be fine to use.View attachment 21352My uncle was offered the Unlimited Picture messages xtra for free, but when sending an MMS it fails. Am currently chatting to the live chat, and they are saying that picture messages is not included. How strange.

It shows in the allowances, but when actually trying to send one it fails to send. They’re talking rubbish (as per usual) if you can see it in your allowances then it should be fine.
Strange it actually fails to send (even it doesn't bill correctly) - on VOXI all MMS seem to send fine and be trouble free (and free).View attachment 21352My uncle was offered the Unlimited Picture messages xtra for free, but when sending an MMS it fails. He’s got an S23 Ultra and is using Google messages. Am guessing it’s GM then, because am looking online it’s seems to be an issue with GM, whereas with SM it was fine. But either way it’s fine, MMS is a nice feature to have as a just in case scenario.S

Wonder if it's an issue with the way it sends MMS on your uncle's phone?
What phone is he using.View attachment 21352My uncle was offered the Unlimited Picture messages xtra for free, but when sending an MMS it fails. Am currently chatting to the live chat, and they are saying that picture messages is not included. How strange.
S23 Ultra and he is using the wap.Vodafone.co.uk APN.What phone is he using.
The APN needs to be set correctly for MMS to work.
This is pure O2 as I am aware. The followings screenshot show band 7 outside st James park prior to n78 (40MHz) while the second one show the speed with n78.Keen to learn more, was this O2 host or unwind? If you could share the cellmapper info and/or site pics that would be helpful
Was it 2 and 10 before? Maybe they realized those speed in 2024 are ridiculous?Vodafone are offering plans capped at 100 Mbps

I think it was there was only 10Mbps or uncapped a few months ago.
