Vodafone/Three merger

According to press reports, there could be an announcement on Friday re Vodafone and Three.

This got me thinking about the consumer benefits - I presume we will see "national" roaming in the short to medium term ?

I was trying to think back to what happened when Orange and T-Mobile merged.

Personally I might consider leaving EE for Vodafone. This would give the best of both worlds.

I would have access to the impressive Three 5G network and access to Vodafone's less congested (than Three's) 4G network.

Then there is the benefit of Vodafone roaming. I.e. very competitive roaming prices AND access to 5G roaming abroad.

Am I missing any other benefits?

(Lots of opinions in there) 😊
