VoIP landline provider recommendations?

Hi, has anyone got any recommendations for companies that offer an unlimited VoIP service? Right now I'm using A&A VoIP but that's a Pay As You Go service and I make quite a lot of calls - so the bill racks up.

I've tried Vonage but they don't give out the SIP details or the HT801 login details - plus their customer service is absolutely awful.

Last year I did use the sipgate UK unlimited call package for £10 a month, but that's not available anymore and the cheapest package with unlimited calls from them is the Business L package which requires at least 2 users (at £17.95 each) thus taking the combined cost to over £30.

Any recommendations and I'd be very grateful.

Thanks.

Do you really need unlimited?

Up to 100mins A&A

Dial 9 will do a single line + unlimited for £14.98. I have no experience of them personally.

Most UK VoIP aimed at business. Cheapest consumer unlimited calls is mobile contract and use either landline/DV/VoIP incoming only.

Yes. I use over 1000 minutes a month. Around 1500 minutes

I was wondering about Virtual Landline - has anyone had any experience. They do an unlimited (fair use) bundle for £7.95 per month.
I want a supplier who I can plug into my existing Gigaset phone basestation - they claim to work with Gigaset and their own supply SIP phones. Too good to be true?

VoipTalk aka Telappliant do unlimited for £8.99

* UK minutes plans includes calls to UK landline (+441, +442) destinations and the main 4 mobile network providers (EE, O2, Three, Vodafone).
Services are subject to a 12-month contract. Please see our terms and conditions for further information. Here is a list of countries that are not included in our Business Multi Plans

To answer my own question - I have signed up and a test line works perfectly on my Gigaset. VL provided the settings I needed - name and password, and their proxy and registration servers. I have just requested the number port from Vodafone (which will cut my Broadband service, but I'm moving house anyway).

I’m always on the lookout for this kind of thing. These online VoIP providers tend to be fairly expensive when it comes to bundling minutes for home users to make landline calls.
