VOXI eSIM loophole

Sponsored Links
In an interesting turn of events, it seems like my Vodafone account has been reactivated as PAYG, when I first transferred to VOXI there was nothing in the account.

Since I'm now seemingly definitely back on Vodafone PAYG and there's no credit on the account, how am I able to access the internet?

I think Voxi is just a version of Vodafone prepay, the network at the top says Vodafone UK and the APN setting is PP.Vodafone which I presume stands for prepay, also the STAC code was a Vodafone one.

If you log into Vodafone rather than VOXI, what do you have on there?

The log in details are the same because, like you say, they're essentially the same.

Maybe you should start the process again with a new sim and different email address. After requesting the move to VOXI, buy a plan wait a couple of days then do a STAC request.

I'm honestly not in that much of a need for it, I only did it because I needed a temporary sim for a trip and I fancied giving the loophole a try!

Although, I might pop into the Vodafone store when I'm out (there's one just down the road) and see if anything shows up on their end. I'm not sure what they can do with VOXI though other than sell it.

Trip abroad, because I think the same add-ons are available in Vodafone PAYG?

No such luck with mine - bought a PAYG SIM today & tried to swap to an eSIM. It took signal off the physical SIM but didn't email me the QR for the eSIM - think at this point I may just give up since it looks like other people on Reddit have had the same issue. Must be a process change on Vodas end 🤷‍♀️

Interesting as I only did mine last week.

I did do all my steps within few minutes, activate sim on Vodafone, convert sim, switched to VOXI using this page. The getting into my VOXI account took overnight, I did request a STAC code in that time, so not sure if that sped anything up.
