VOXI eSIM loophole

The QR code never worked for me when doing it for my PAYM on Vodafone, well it never arrived Via email… I had to enter my EID number online, eventually I got all 8 QR codes about 3 weeks after that happened, I do hope we can now move the sim from device to device rather then what I had to do before, which was eSim - physical - eSim when I got my new phone.

I can confirm eSIM conversion works perfectly on iOS, I haven't tried moving it using quick transfer as I haven't yet got a newer iPhone. It allows me to leave the physical slot free for some network testing (was testing SMARTY but that is now set to not renew as not happy with their signal in Norfolk). I am tempted to try out 1p mobile at some point and see if it is any different to EE my previous carrier before I tried giffgaff (wasnt happy) and then moved to VOXI (very happy).

1p mobile has exactly the same coverage as full EE, also has no speed limitations like EE PAYG and some PAYM plans and of course includes EU roaming.

I am aware of that, glad there are no speed limits on it, it seems the rolling PAYG plans from MVNOs are the way forward these days instead of contracts. Had I have known what I know now I would not have stuck with EE for 10 years.

Agree totally, seems contracts are pretty poor value nowadays, most charge for roaming and impose annual price rises. I also noticed that for some networks out of plan costs are higher for PAYM than for PAYG, which is crazy but shows you where the competition is now.

I am now set on VOXI as my provider, am confident to recommend either VOXI or Talkmobile to others depending on their usage and needs.
