I hope this is the right place to post this.......
I ordered a FTTP connection (FOD) through Cerberus at the begining of the year. We live about 500m from the node, and I elected to dig my own trench (300m) across our land to save significant cost to the install. Had to wait months and keep chasing for the fibre cable to be delivered so I could lay it. Eventually turned up in July, and I had it in the ground in 2 days.
My gripe is that we have now been waiting since the end of July for the final Openreach engineer visit to install the ONT in the house. I get regular updates from Cerberus, but all essentially saying "hopefully soon", with no solid explanation of the delay.
Has anyone experienced anything similiar? Is there anything I could do to get the final (easy) stage done? I'm tempted to stop next time I see an Openreach engineer out and about and offer cash just to get the job done!
Sorry for the rant and waffle!
