I had to do a factory reset of my ASUS DSL-AC68U modem router that has been giving a stable internet connection for months.
I had a previously written down note of the last set of WAN settings and have entered them (with username and password). I'm getting confirmation that the DSL link is up but I can't connect to the internet.
The settings I'm using are :
WAN Type - ADSL WAN (ATM)
PVC - Internet PVC (no option to change)
WAN Connection Type - PPPoA
VPI 0
VCI 38
Encapsulation Mode VC-Mux
Service Category - unchanged at UBR without PCR
For info, I have checked recent posts in this forum that mention this router but none seem to cover the specific point on WAN settings.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of the correct settings to use.
Many thanks
Rob
