as cretin said, when i used to work for freeserve cust support, supanet used to do exactly this, and the freeserve accounts would not dial up on 0808 numbers due to supanets software. i think we had to refer ppl to supanets tech support to get rid, cant remember, other than that if you call 0870 0872 0099 and chose option 2 or 3 (cant remember which) to close ure account and explain ure peed off with ringin the 09062 tech number @ 50p/min, they shud give u a 0870 tech number with a passcode, chances are itl go thru to india, but there is 2 small teams in liverpool or middlesbrough (i think) n in the call centre i worked in as back up tht are on the tech support line. another tip, when going thru to cust support, to change details, if u get in a que try rediallin, u might get thru after a couple of rings!
