Just read the Tiscali thread, and if the bloke who replied didn't like HIS login name, get a life you sad ****, I can't wait till he see's mine.
Who do you work for.? One of the ISP's.?

Wanadoo/Orange

This service is without doubt the worst I have ever encountered in my entire life.
Useless, Ignorant, Slow are just a few words I could use to describe this shower of conmen, and if I have to listen to one more Indian call centre worker, reading off a screen so these money pinching robbers can save a few bob, I'm going to go insane.!

Since before xmas I have been arguing with them about connection speeds, If they manage to keep me on-line that is, poorly trained staff, waiting times on the phone etc.

They've lined their greedy little pockets with hundreds of pounds of my money, as they will have with thousands of others.

This was a good one.

They have 2 UK call centres I was told, as well as the Indian ones of course, but they've told me that many lies I don't know what to believe.

When I asked to be passed to the one that has UK technical support, I was told I had to keep ringing up and it was pot luck.

I'd ring, eventually someone would answer, I'd say where are you based, then put the phone down and start again.
Absolutely unbelievably poor service.

My heart bleeds for you.
Such a shame that someone who has obviously gone to a great deal of trouble of thinking up such an amusing username, undoubtedly the cleverest one ever seen on this forum, should suffer so much grief.

I'm going to go insane.!
Keep taking the tablets - they may save you yet.

I don't think Mark J would be too impressed.

Their's some on ISP chat zone who uses the name "Hugh Praterson" crumbs!

So lets get this right....
1. You'd telephone Orange,
2. They would answer your call
3. You would ask the person their location.
4. You would then put the phone down (without waiting for a reply)
5. You would then start this process all over again.

Jeez....
I guess sentup was just about right with his suggestion.

There is a UK callcentre, I spoke to them last week. I phoned about 7/8pm, dunno if that makes a difference?

I've had a problem with my speed since I joined, which I put off dealing with as I had to phone to report it. However, when I did, it seemed to be free using my livebox phone, which was unexpected. I rang last week, the first person I spoke to was terrible, asking me the same questions 3 times, then making me put the phone down, go and unplug everything, then ring back. Once I'd done this though, they put a line test through, found a fault on my line, and seem to have fixed it. They even rang me last week to ask how my speeds were, and to let me know they were following it up till it was sorted.

I've been away a few days, but when I checked earlier today, my speed had gone from 512 or less to 3.3mb. If this continues, I'll be very happy with Orange.
