Weird ADSL problem HELP!!!!

ok, i migrated to evolutionDSL for a month it was ok for the 1st two weeks then got a 15Kb/s limit, couldn't get an answer of evo, so i got my mac code and migrated, nice with a new ISP and i get between 4K/s to 15K/s MAX, been with them two days now and they have said they can do nothing till I have been with them for 10 days as BT won't log a fault, is there anything I can do ?

as this so slow i can hardly use it :(

Just to rule out your side have you tried using the test socket by removing the faceplate?

Disconnect all your ADSL equipment and DSL filters. Plug a telephone directly into your BT socket. Do you still hear line noise? yes - contact BT to check your telephone line. no - go to next step 2.
Now connect a DSL filter to the BT socket, and then connect the telephone to the filter. Do you hear line noise? yes - the DSL filter could be at fault Contact support. no - Try repeating with another filter. If there is no line noise with any of the filters, go to the next step 3.
Connect your ADSL Modem and a telephone to the DSL filter at the master socket. Try each of your filters. Do you hear noise? yes - the filter may be at fault. Contact support. no - there could be a fault with your internal wiring. Repeat steps 2 and 3 but from the extension socket or lead.

there is no test socket if i remove the faceplate :(

i tried it on the main socket, instead of extension cable and have same problem, also tried a different router.

I'm with Ace Internet now, their support seem very good, quick at answering etc, just want my connection to work though :(

btw, tried a phone on the master socket with no micro filter and there is no noise at all :( shouldn't there be loads of line noise with no filter ?

Looks like you have a unstable line and your BRAS profile has been limited to a 160k as the line will be in and out of sync every few mins, whats your router stats and if its not plugged into the master socket you will never get the best out of the line or maybe a stable line.

it's on the master socket syn is at 448 / 8096 Interleaving on, it's not that unstable...it used to be, but it's not any more...
