I had an issue last week with my wifi devices connecting to the router perfectly but sporadically not allowing internet through. The issue appeared to come and go at random once or twice. Yesterday it didn't sort itself out. I've not changed any settings, 5ghz wifi is turned off (because I'm aware this can cause issues on devices that don't have 5ghz wifi), but apart from that everything is set as default.
Up until yesterday all WiFi connections in my home were done with the router via DHCP. The router assigns devices just fine and the routers web interface is accessible from the WiFi-devices. However no internet access comes through. In the router each device is issued the same local IP each time it connects, so I thought I'd see if I specified on the WiFi devices the same IP it'd work, and strangely it does work and allows internet through.
But if I just connect to the wifi by just putting the password in, it issues the very same IP but "no internet".
Any idea's people?
