Hi,
Looking to upgrade my broadband from poor FTTC to FTTP now that Fibre Heroes has installed equipment on the pole outside my house.
However I am not certin to what is going or will be installed.
I am currently on FTTC with phone and broadband to ISP SKY.
If I get a Fibre Heroes ISP (most likly idnet or Octoplus etc) but what will be installed/taken away.
1) Will my existing copper landline be disconnected and my house moved over to fibre for broadband & phone?
2) Would it just be a fibre cable installed and thus keep the existing copper landline.
3) Will BT have access to the Fibre Heroes Optic cables eventually as BT say they are doing FTTP sometime between now and 2026 as I can't see BT installing there own boxes on each pole when other ones are already there.
Sorry for the questions
