What to do

I want move to Rural Internets uncapped 2Mb service however my router reports my line loss as 7db over the limit for 2Mb however my exchange says i can receive a 2Mb service (and routers can be innacurate) so if i sign up for Rurals 2Mb service and the BT engineer says sorry 1Mb only will Rural stick me on their 1Mb service? (which is £9 deerer than Pipex's 1Mb service) or can i just say no thanks without being charged and sign up for the cheaper pipex 1Mb service or will i still be tied into Rural?

You would be tied to rural if I remember it right you selected them for 2mb and failed so you are placed on the highest they can supply you.

Just signup with Pipex :) i never had a probelm with them for the 16 months or so i was a customer.
