Er - not everyone can afford cable mate. Me for one. Anyway my supra express 56e does me just fine on NTL with pings of around 130-140 if the server side is stable.

It's not a panacea, but analog line bonding is worth considering... (especially when combined with V.92/V.44)

Crap, you only need the bandwidth for gettting patches for games, which are on most magazine cover CD's anyway. Meh supra express 56k does meh fine! Besides ISDN is the best for gaming! ADSL is best for downloading.
And cable owns all (If ya can get it
)
Anyway my point is, you can play games perfectly fine on a modem, especially ISDN

I've used it not very good to be honest pings varied from 200ms to 4000ms yes 4000ms

When I posted that response, a few peeps were raving on about how good Fast24 were. I just took another look at their forum ... It don't look so good now
