On OR FTTP since 18/1/2018 (live date) and was apparently moved to Plexus on 25/1/18 (GEA FTTP migration in April last year)
Last Wednesday following an overnight drop around 4 a.m. went from connecting to vt1.cor2.lond2.ptn.zen.net.uk and vt1.cor1.lond2.ptn.zen.net.uk , can't remember exactly (I assumed this was Huawei gear) for a number of years to connecting to lo0-0.bng1.ixn-lon.zen.net.uk and variations thereof (Fritzbox 7530 set to drop and reset PPP once a day)
I know the ixn means the gateway is lovated in Interxion (also seen thn which I know means Telehouse North) but just wondered if anyone knows the difference between the old and new sets of gateways?
I was under the impression most providers were moving away from Huawei due to Government regulations.
Purely out of interest.
