I for one am sick and tired of putting up with fast4's
aptitude to there customers

for me it's time to act

I have made a complaint to
http://www.ispa.org.uk/cgi-bin/complaints.cgi?
NOTE that fast4 IS listed, but under NJP Services

and have downloaded
http://www.cisas.org.uk/pdf/CISASAppForm.pdf

as my bandwith complaints are more than 3 months old with no resolution. I do not need a deadlock letter

I will fill in the form tonight claiming compensation

After reading
http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/showthread.php?t=26598
I have also contacted Consumer http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/contact (they represent) TRADING STANDARDS and complained that 2Kbs is not BROADBAND (or anything up to 512Kbs)
Phone 08454040506 between 8am till 6.30pm mon-fri, 9am till 1pm sat
Company reg No 4375736 (assuming it’s fast4 you want to complain about)the more complaints the higher the priorty

I think it's time for all of us who feel enough is enough
to bring a close to this sad state of affairs

sorry to hijack anyones threads I thought it was time to put this all in one place.

I wish all of fast4 ex-employees
good luck in the future

I hear ya.

Shamefully I am quite a meek person, who doesn't really want much hassle, but after the way Fast4 have chopped and changed the service, from no FUP, to 60GB and now 15GB I am disgusted and am all up for lodging a complaint about them. I mean really what next, 5GB a month?

Now one of the most disgraceful things is people being put on congestion ctrl for expressing a desire to leave? WTF?! That is childish and borders on bullying.

I am intending to ring them up after this post and pose a few questions to them, so I can hopefully get rid. Most likely I will be put on the congestion ctrl as soon as I go to cancel my account, but that will be mentioned in my complaint, if that is the case.

Thank you for those links.

I have filed a complaint at ISPA and at OFCOM.
I am suggesting to Fast4 that under the Act in the link below, I expect my service to be resumed normally, and this month's subscription returned as they have not provided the service as laid down by their terms and conditions LEGALLY in force at this time.
I await their reply (not expecting much)

perspective

Looking at the stats for the forum I see that farce4 is breaking all the records
Fast4 525 threads 7,065 posts
Biscit 236 threads 3,975 posts
AOL 95 threads 1,184 posts
Plusnet 78 threads 1,051 posts
Tiscali 135 threads 865 posts
NamesCo 105 threads 838 posts

Something for them to be proud of?
anyone got a link to the Guinness records nominations page?, by next week will be fine

Do you think Fast4 owe us £12 each. Since we paid for 60gb and only received a quater of that, they should give us 3/4 of our money back.

well i'm calling it a day and have just signed up to adsl24. I hope fast4 go broke and the people in charge of the ludicrus decisions of the last few months end up being on tech support for AOL or PC world. a worthy punishment.

As a final poke in the eye they billed me yesterday (10th) for £14 and then I come home today and have been billed again today for £16. phoned this time and got an apology and agreed refund.

I want to have good will to this company but they do nothing to invoke it.

Looking through the threads on ISPR I should think that Fast 4 must have toppled Tiscali from the top of the complaints list . Also at the rate the thread are coming .Will Mark be changing the name from ISPR to Fast 4 Complaints forum?:D:D

Don`t mean to be unkind to the poor people stuck with such a predicament .There but for the grace of god go I

Complete with Fast4 banner ads, probably!!

I've got to admit that I'm glad I've managed to avoid getting involved in any of the big ISP catastrophes such as Farce4 or Biscit, but as you say, There but for the grace of god......

I have my issues with my ISP, but at least they are generally reliable.

09:59:38 Customer And I have to keep asking questions in the hope that you will be specific??????

I owe you what?for when?

OK lets start guessing
£31.5 less 13.67 = £17.83???????????

lets try again

£15.95 / 28 days = £0.569642857142857 per day

£31.50 = 55 days 7 hours 8 mins 50.4075235084798 seconds

I think my descriptive comments are accurate
12/03/2008
09:11:18 Customer Services Rasa there also was an outstanding payment from non payment previsously, which is why the costs are as they are .

Jonathan

11/03/2008
19:02:16 Customer Payment is paid up until the 15th according to my accounts page
So add 28 days notice from now = £13.67 (28 days less the four days I have outstanding or is it 5 days?)

PS the dictionary says a thief is someone who steals so I was not name calling but being descriptive

11/03/2008
15:33:57 Customer Services Rasa there is no extra £2 pounds 2 payments of £15.95 is in fact £31.90 and the money due is less than this. Please refrain from name calling in tickets as this is unnecessary.

Jonathan

I'm no lawyer, but as they seem to have changed the contract and failed to provide you proper notice, I do not believe that they are due any payment for notice.

just what is the 28 days notice payment for anyhow ? is it so you still have internet while you switch to your/a new provider ?

i must admit if i left id feel id been done having to pay 10/15 quid or whatever it is, especially if you were still within your most recent normal payment.

I left today, but having unresolved issues, tried to access the ticket console- no luck it is now closed to me although they have taken money until 04/04..
I have lodged a complaint with ofcom, but I wonder if fast four have enough customers to fulfill their criteria for action, even if they all complain.

I have lodged a complaint with ofcom
lodged a complaint with CISAS
emailed murpx with a link to this site to illustrate what fast4 are doing to their image by association.

I shall now be writing to Steve Kaye by registered mail demanding refund and damages. I paid an extra 11 pounds something, my billing date was the 10th, and I migrated on the 12th,after being cut off on the 11th

Forgot to mention the review on this site, and the gadget show's survry - it will not end just because I have migrated

@Capped4

Nice to see that someone else will not let this drop.

I think it is awful to think that this is meant to be a UK company - certainly doesn't help the cause of "Made in Britain".

Hope your enjoying your new connection, unfortunately I have a while longer.

Since admitting to me that I had stayed on Congestion Control in error for ten days,
Lying to me that I had been taken off and keeping me on CC I have taken this as a declaration of WAR

NO WAY I’M GIVING UP / LETTING THIS DROP

IF IT'S WAR THEY WANT, THEY ARE OUTNUMBERED

my speed is now 1Kbs if I'm lucky

RIP farce4
