I kinda did but i wanted opinions of people who actually use them. So Pro 2 does not have band locking? Meaning I should go with Zyxel.Have a wee lookie throgh the Mobile Broadband section pixo, you might find more info there about all the various thoughts on 5G routers.

ZTE MC801A Review
Today I received my ZTE MC801A purchased for around £250 on Amazon shipped by a company called Sotel in Germany. The package took 3 days and arrived via Fedex with no additional import/customs charges. TLDR; Speed: and for comparison, after the testing I ran a test with ONLY my Huawei CPE...www.ispreview.co.uk
The routers you mentioned are all great, I have had them all and I currently have the Zyxel NR5103E, I have one on each network.New Three 5G Hub (NR5103E)
Noticed this morning Three have changed all ZTE 5G Hubs to this new ZYXEL (NR5103E). I believe the only difference is the newer hub can connect to 64 devices, compared to the previous 32. A faster theoretical download speed and a new mobile app for IOS or Android to manage the Hub.www.ispreview.co.uk
It also features built in band locking without having to use scripts or apps which is handy should you ever wish to tinker.
The CPE Pro 2 has a lot more 5G bands compared to the Pro, which only has one.
There's a version 2 out now of the Zyxel NR5103E, but it seems just to be a redesign rather than a major hardware update.
Anyway if you haven't already, have a wee peruse through the Mobile Broadband section and see if you can glean more info in there on various indoor and outdoor routers too.![]()
Well you can if you use the third party app HuaCtrl pixo, but it's handy having it built in.I kinda did but i wanted opinions of people who actually use them. So Pro 2 does not have band locking? Meaning I should go with Zyxel.
That's because you're not exactly pushing the limits of 5G in your neck of the woods..Speed wise for me there wasn't much difference between all 3 routers.
mine does not go over 450/60 so any of them should be good enough right? That's because you're not exactly pushing the limits of 5G in your neck of the woods..
My opinion now is anecdotal and little more than an impression, but based on what I've randomly read on this forum people had many more issues with ZTE MC801A than with the other 2.mine does not go over 450/60 so any of them should be good enough right?
when you go to settings can you change apn, 5g/4g and the other important settings? i have CPE Pro and none of that can be changed. I had 4g router from huawei before, i was able to choose 4g or 3g and apn but compared to unbranded huawei router i did not have all settings there. also does Zyxel NR5103E have bridge mode?Have a wee lookie throgh the Mobile Broadband section pixo, you might find more info there about all the various thoughts on 5G routers.

Yes you can change all that on the NR5103E and indeed it has a bridge mode (called "IP passthrough").when you go to settings can you change apn, 5g/4g and the other important settings? i have CPE Pro and none of that can be changed. Yes it does have bridge mode which Zyxel call IP Passthrough, and yes you can also select 4G or 4G / 5G and add up to 15 APN profiles should you wish to.when you go to settings can you change apn, 5g/4g and the other important settings? i have CPE Pro and none of that can be changed.
