Wii & iPad Wireless Router Modem without a computer?

Hi. I've been thinking about getting rid of my PC and using an Apple iPad and Nintendo Wii for internet browsing. Trouble is, most wireless modem routers need to be set up using a PC or Mac.

So, I was wondering if anybody knows of any ISP's who offer self installing wireless modem routers? I was thinking about subscribing to PlusNet Broadband as they supply something like this with their broadband package, but I'm not sure if the 2.5mb/s they offer will be enough for YouTube or the iPlayer.

Thanks.

Most routers can just be setup via web browser. You'd connect the Wii or iPad to the wireless network, go to the router IP and then configure that way.

iPad would be simple, it runs Safari. Wii too as that runs Opera.

Indeed the advantage of wireless routers is that you can set them up from any website browser, MAC/PC compatibility is a non-issue because they are networking hardware and not dependent on external software.

Thanks for your replies. So would I need to physically connect the iPad via a USB cable to the router to set things up, or can it be set up wirelessly?
