Would THREE 5G broadband hub work with Mesh system?

Hello, I’m new here.
I just got the new deal from Three 5G hub to try out.

Basically, in the main room where I set the 5G hub Im getting 300+Mbps but in the next room it’s hardly reaching 50Mbps and upstairs is barely 2Mbps.
I would like to know if I can add a wifi Mesh system to it to be able to cover my whole home with good wifi signal.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance

i use muy huawei cpe pro (non branded and has bridge mode) with the google nest wifi, and now wifi the google nestwifi pro . works a treat

do you require VLAN?
I’m not sure really, so basically Three sent me the ZTE MC801A hub which is not enough to cover my home. I want to know if it’s possible to have mesh system connected to it but i read that mesh system need to be connected to the main fiber Lan ? Im confused

it's possible either Deco or Eero would perform adequately, what speed are you seeing from the MC801a?

When in the same room it’s reaching 380Mbps on average.
Next room it drops between 60 - 20 Mbps.
Upstairs the room directly above 60 - 20 Mbps while the opposite side hardly 2Mbps

My Asus Mesh has worked with lots of 4G routers, currently attached to an Huawei b818-263. No bridge mode. I just turn DHCP off and set the Asus WAN to static IP. Zero issues, double Nat never been a problem.

I have the Zyxel Thee 5G hub connected to my Asus XT8 mesh. Had to enable "IP passthrough mode" which I think is what Zyxel call bridge mode.
Sounds much more classy if you ask me lovell100. 😁

Thanks that helps as I asked for a Zyxel instead of the one I have. So l just need to connect the mesh by lan to the 5G hub, and it will work with a bit of work for the ip as you mentioned.

Update: got a call back from Three and was told they will no longer provide me with the Zyxel as they’ve found out that it has a fault and they have discontinued using it.

I'm now having an issue with the connectivity of the hub itself which is why I joined this forum.

Prior to the Zyxel playing up I was getting a stable 800Mbps to the hub itself and around 600 mbps on each of the 3 XT8 nodes.

It was all working so well - annoying!

I have an MC801A working with my BT Whole Home mini mesh system. I would probably recommend the "premium whole home" as it's WiFi 6 capable and therefore probably faster - but the mini whole home is able to keep 200 down 75 up in every room of my three storey house.

I have actually got a call back today from Three and they told me that they found out there is a problem with Zyxel hubs and that they will no longer be using it.

They said that too about the ZTE MC801A, yet they are still supplying it, I think they just make it up as they go along.
