There are a lot of difference between them.
Technically on paper the Zyxel is the better performer, especially as a Standalone Unit and using its WiFi, / WiFi6, it has some drawbacks though, the most overlooked one is although its 5G NR, DL 4.67 Gbps Specked, its Ethernet Ports appear to be maxed out at 1gbs, so its technically sub 1gbs over LAN, the other Issue is if you are in a poor Coverage Area and need to rely on its 4 x External Antenna Ports (its either all 4 or nothing) then you are in a Jungle Curry Mix of choosing the the right Antennas for its claimed 4/5G Frequency Bands of 600 to 3800 Mhz. the other issue is the current cheaper versions of these are either EE or Three Branded and the Firmware is heavenly restricted over the more expensive the Original Zyxel Versions.
Although Im not really a Fan of ZTE, the MC7010 does seem to have a good take on a 4/5G Outdoor Router for its price, (although it does seem a bit of a Lightweight to me), with the added benefits of an Outdoor CPE (ie, the Aerials are Outside and there is no Coax Cable Loss to worry about), but, in order to see the real benefits of this Outdoor Router you will need to invest in partnering this with another Indoor / Lan / Wifi Router, Personally if you can afford it, go for an Huawei Outdoor CPE, the Huawei Outdoors are a lot more robust over the ZTE;s. The only other Personal thing for me would be I wouldn't buy a Network Branded MC7010 (you never know whats around the corner with Firmware Updates and Restrictions) I would invest a bit more for an Original Unbranded ZTE MC7010.
Between the two you mentioned, horses for courses really, will an Indoor CPE work for you and your choice Network Coverage, or go for an Outdoor CPE plus an additional Internal Router (Both of which need to be Installed correctly mind)
