Hello everyone.
i am new with this router and 5g network. currently i am using vodofone sim card in it my signal are two sometimes three white lights. I made several speed tests and usually my ping are from 50-90 download speed from 60-190Mbps and upload from 1.5-5Mbps. which antenna do you guys suggest the best to achieve better and stronger signal?

Can i use wifi extender with this router? Because in some rooms i don't get full signal.

Also my MC801A router keep switching off at certain time every day at 00:00 and then i need to reboot it manually switching it off and on. Anyone know how to fix this ?

Thanks guys for your help i really appreciate that.

Please post your stats from Advanced Settings, Others, Network Information. The important figures are: 5G Signal Strenth and 5G SINR. If the figures are good, and you're still getting poor upload/download speeds it might be a Vodafone issue. You also need to think about how capable your devices are, and what the WiFi signal is like where you're testing. e.g your wifi might be clashing with your neighbours' channels which would slow down your speeds. One of the problems with having a "fast" connection is getting that around your property, as 2.4ghz wifi has very limited speeds and 5ghz signals degrade very quickly as you move away from the AP. I need 3 wired access points (TP-Link Deco) in my house to get acceptable speeds. My download with Three 5G is typically 250-300mbps and upload 100mbps.

Hello. i already tried to disable and change it to certain day but my connection still switches off at 00:00 every day so i need to restart it. Thanks.
Hi, @niks210

Do your WiFi or 5G/LTE connection disable every midnight?
Do you do factory reset of router before?

About unstable signal, you can use specific Chinese software for Cell lock and band lock with the MC801A, I can share it with you tomorrow.

Those signal strength numbers are not very good. 5G SNR should be better than 20db and strength for 4G and 5g should be better than -95db (lower is better). Check out the cellmapper website to see what masts are available for your location and try different locations for your router for best signal. Placement and orientation can be fussy. Movement of only a few inches can make a difference as can the way the router is facing. When finding the best placement I use a tablet with the router home page to monitor the signal while moving the router around.
