ZTE MF286D Modem downgrade

Hi,
I have a Three Zte MF286D which I upgraded to B12 including modem and faced some issues with connectivity and speed issues with Vodafone.
Is there any way to downgrade modem back to Three firmware version?

Thanks

@meritez would you know please?
I've never downgraded.

I've heard of people downgrading to B02 using the Nordic framework as the B02 modem firmware is in the framework.

To get B04 modem firmware you would need an mtd backup from someone who has serial tftp wrote Openwrt without ever touching the modem firmware.

What issues are you facing with B12?

Thanks,
I had issues connecting to Vodafone 4G Band7, it was only stuck at 3G and no internet. I have seen it doing Band1+20 CA in another area on Vodafone.
This made me think it could be due to different CA setup in the original 3 modem firmware.

I see band 3+7+7 aggregate on my mf286d using B12 on EE.
Does quite well against my Mikrotik chateau lte12.

Of course it's not designed for that, if only I had some of that elusive Vodafone B32 locally to connect to.

Internal only
What was signal strength like?

Only ask because rear-left antenna socket is for B7 - wonder whether an external antenna hook up would help with reliability?

Interesting, could my UART mod be messing with it.
Just kidding, I have tried without the wires

Most mf286d serial mods go out the side of the casing that the UART connection is located.
Yeah, I wanted to keep the look of the router as stock so made it like this. Not sure if you have seen my UART mod thread

Yes you even link to the photos of the serial mod out the side of the case on the Openwrt wiki.
