Hi all,
Just wanted to say many thanks for people's post in this forum as it's helped me decide which 5G router to go for. I'm moving to an area in the next couple of months that has pretty quick 5G (I get about 450meg on my Pixel 7 in the house).
I've just bought a Zyxel NR5103E from CEX for £110 which looks a good deal. Hopefully it will work fine and save me having to get a broadband line installed (I may not be in the house for more than 6 months and all the fixed lines seem to want a 24 month contract these days).
I've bought an unlimited Smarty 5G sim card for £15 a month (it's a guaranteed price for 15 months apparently).
If anyone has any tips about how to lock on to certain 5g brands etc. I would be most grateful to hear them.
Thanks again for the help so far.
Edit - Forgot to mention, if anyone has tips to get past CGNAT for things like IP cameras that would be great. I already use Tailscale to get to a QNAP NAS in another house which works great.
