"Mozilla is, in our opinion, the second best browser after IE when it comes to HTML rendering quality"

Mozilla v1 (Open Source)

Mozilla is the latest 'RELEASED' entrant into the mainstream browser race via open source; some of its older code is also used in Netscape's v6 Navigator browser. Mozilla is, in our opinion, the second best browser after IE when it comes to HTML rendering quality (output).

The browser has literally only just been release as final and is already looking extremely good. It's been in development for roughly four years and much of its older code has helped to define a number of browsers, although currently Netscape is the only mainstream browser to use nearly all of Mozilla's new v1 code.

Cost: - FREE
OS Compatibility: - It can compile for almost any OS..
Key Feature: - Open Source (programmers can change what you want).
Speed: - Fast, not quite Opera v6 speed, yet easily the second fastest.
HTML Rendering Quality: - Second best after IE, very similar to Opera, yet slightly better and near identical to IE bar a few text formatting bugs and the odd table and HR pixel size alignment issues.

Overall Internet Explorer still comes out on top, although we'd expect more and more people to start using Mozilla seeing as it's improved so much. Opera could be in trouble thanks to its new mainstream competition and Netscape is more or less just a brand built onto Mozilla.

Note that there are many other browsers and most are based off of Mozilla, you can check some of them out here:
