ISPreview investigate the fraud @ VisualDepth |
![]() ![]() Bingo, the first physical proof that VD had lied about at least one thing, irrefutable evidence that the ISP was indeed using Planet Online for it's network bandwidth and on an EzeSurf IP! Having completed Phase1 we decided it was time to investigate the company itself. Phase 2: For the second phase we were charged with the problem of finding out what companies VD had links with. EzeSurf, Planet Online (Energis) and BTNet were the key people to contact. After getting off the phone with both POL and BTNet, neither knew an ISP named Visual Depth or based in the location they state, existed. So now we knew several confirmed facts:
Clearly we had a serious problem and finally the proof to show for it, VisualDepth was lying, but one crucial piece of evidence was missing from the puzzle, EzeSurf. Thankfully we barely had to even contact them because they had already been taking their own action.
