Shropshire-based UK ISP Aquiss has today launched a “Summer Sale” promotion across their Openreach based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband packages for homes, which essentially reduces the first 6 months of service to half price for all orders made before midnight on 31st August 2022.

London-focused UK ISP CommunityFibre (CF), which has already covered 500,000 premises with their 3Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network (aiming for 2.2 million by the end of 2024), has today refreshed and discounted some of their broadband packages. For example, you can now get 1Gbps for just £25.

UK ISP Sky Broadband will today introduce a few new discounts on the monthly price of their fastest Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based Ultrafast and Gigafast broadband packages on Openreach’s national network, which shaves a few extra pounds off the previous pricing.

Last week we reported that Three UK had cut the standard charge on their 5G unlimited Three Home Broadband packages and also introduced the more expensive ‘option‘ of a 1-month minimum contract term. But it seems they were a bit premature, since the new monthly term has only now gone live.

Mobile operator Three UK has informed us that they’ve slightly lowered the standard charge on their 5G based unlimited Home Broadband packages from £21 to £20 per month on a 24-month term. But on the flip side those in 4G-only areas will now be paying the same price (earlier this year it was just £14).

UK ISP BT has updated their existing range of discounts, not least by boosting the value on some of their included reward vouchers (preloaded MasterCards) and also shaving an extra pound or two off the existing offer prices for their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) packages. Some FTTP plans also include a 1-month free speed boost.

City-focused gigabit broadband ISP Hyperoptic, which is building a new “full fibre” (FTTP/B) network to 2 million UK homes by the end of 2023 (825,000 completed so far), has today launched a new “Big Bang Sale” that knocks a few extra pounds off their previous monthly prices for new customers on 24-month terms.

Broadband ISP and energy provider Shell Energy has enhanced the existing discount on their top two Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based packages (specifically the 525Mbps and 944Mbps plans) by removing the £50 bill credit for new customers and replacing it with a £100 shopping voucher.

Broadband ISP YouFibre has revealed that their new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, which is being built by network partner Netomnia across various UK towns (live in 22), has just connected their 10,000th customer (up from 5,000 in Feb 2022). Mobile operator Smarty, which is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) on Three UK’s platform, has recently launched a discount that offers their new SIM-Only plan with 100GB data (mobile broadband), unlimited calls and texts, EU roaming, “superfast” 5G and a 30-day term for just £12 per month.

UK ISP Virgin Media (VMO2) has kicked off the week by launching a different kind of discount on their standalone broadband packages – called “Solus Boost“, which essentially cuts the price of all their packages – from 100Mbps to 1Gbps – to just £28 per month for the first 6 months of service (original pricing thereafter).
