Energy supplier and UK ISP Shell Energy (formerly First Utility) has heavily discounted their broadband and phone packages for new subscribers, which for example cuts the price of their top 63Mbps (average speed) package from £34.99 to £26.99 per month for the first 18 months of service.

Hampshire-based UK ISP Onestream has launched an intriguing new broadband package called “Jetstream Lite Fibre Unlimited,” which is unique because it appears to be based off Openreach’s (BT) national Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC / VDSL) network and yet only promises a max download speed of 20Mbps (2Mbps upload).

Mobile operator Three UK has discounted their 4G “unlimited data” and Huawei AICubeB900 router based mobile broadband plan, which is now being offered at just £13 per month for the first 6 months of service (rising to £26 thereafter) when taken on a 24 month contract term.

Internet provider Pulse8 Broadband has cut the monthly rental price of their unlimited “fibre broadband” (FTTC / VDSL2) packages for homes and small businesses by -£2.40 inc. VAT, which is offered alongside their usual 1 month minimum contract term.

Anybody lucky enough to be covered by Gigaclear’s rural Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network may like to know that they’ve significantly discounted the price of their symmetrical 300Mbps and 900Mbps speed (average) packages, which also come with free activation (usually £30-£120) and installation.

UK ISP Andrews & Arnold (AAISP) has today announced that customers of their Home::1 2TB broadband package, which includes 2000GB (GigaBytes) of monthly usage, will see their monthly prices cut by £5 per month. Meanwhile those with a 300GB allowance on Home::1 300GB will be upgraded to 2000GB for the same price.

UK ISP BT has changed their gadget offer for June, which means that new customers who take one of their broadband bundles are being offered the choice of either a free Amazon Echo, JBL 650 Live Headphones or Samsung Tablet A when they sign-up to the service. This is on top of the usual reward cards (pre-paid MasterCard).

Rochdale-based UK ISP Zen Internet has informed us that they’ve discounted the price of their standalone “full fibre” (FTTP) based superfast and ultrafast broadband packages, which offer average download speeds of up to 300Mbps (45Mbps upload); slower and cheaper plans are also available.

On top of that they’ve also removed the requirement of needing to take out copper phone line rental.
