Full fibre ISP Gigaclear has announced that new customers in rural areas covered by their 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network can now benefit from a significant discount on their first 18 months of service, which has been introduced as part of their special Summer Sale until 14th August.

UK ISP BT Business has today extended the availability of their converged HALO packages to include small business customers, which combines their “fibre broadband“, 4G unlimited mobile and digital phone line (app based) service into a single bundle from £42.95 +vat per month. There’s also a new Small Business Support Scheme.

New customers of Vodafone UK’s Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) based Gigafast Broadband ISP packages, which are based off Cityfibre’s £4bn roll-out programme, may like to know that the provider will today adopt the same pricing strategy as on their FTTC based “superfast” plans (i.e. £3 discount for existing mobile subscribers).

New and upgrading customers to Tesco Mobile may be pleased to learn that they’ll now be able to get Clubcard Plus for six months absolutely free, which comes with various benefits including the ability to save up to £40 a month in-store when shopping at.. Tesco, obviously.

London-focused broadband ISP CommunityFibre has refreshed their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) packages in the city by adding the new option of a 24 month minimum contract term, while at the same time tweaking some of their prices to be higher under the older 12 month term.

UK ISP Plusnet has introduced new discounts on their ADSL and FTTC based broadband and phone packages, which reduce their monthly prices for the first 18 month contract term. On top of that they’ve also thrown in a “Reward Card” (pre-paid Mastercard) worth between £50 to £60.

Broadband ISP Zzoomm, which is currently deploying a new 2Gbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based broadband network in the Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames and aspires to cover 1 million UK homes by the end of 2025 (here), has significantly reduced the monthly rental prices of nearly all their packages.

Now Pure Broadband, which uses the same network, is giving existing users a way to get the same deal.

Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) UK ISP Wildanet, which is currently building a new broadband network in rural parts of South West England, has begun offering businesses in Cornwall “guaranteed superfast broadband, with no payments in the first three months and a free standard installation” to help with the impact from COVID-19.

Energy provider and ISP Shell Energy has today discounted their home broadband and phone packages for new subscribers, which for example drops their 63Mbps “Superfast Fibre Plus” package from £34.99 per month on an 18 month term to just £29.99. Customers will be able to take this deal until 1st June 2020.

UK ISP Virgin Media has discounted the price of their 100Mbps to 350Mbps standalone ultrafast broadband packages for the first 12 months of service (minimum contract term), which now start from just £28 per month (£42 thereafter). On top of that they’ve also removed the £35 one-off setup fee (expected to last until 29th April 2020).
