The ITS Technology Group, which has built several fibre optic and wireless broadband networks around the United Kingdom, has appointed Kevin Gaskell to be its new Group Chairman in order to help “attract further investment“.
Kevin has previously worked for a number of major automotive brands (e.g. Porsche, Lamborghini and BMW) and so his move into broadband perhaps represents somewhat of a new challenge. It’s worth pointing out that Kevin is also investing in the business itself.
“I have been involved in founding and growing a number of successful companies and I am delighted to be joining ITS. This is a business with a first class team, an energetic and innovative approach to the market and the clear objective to become the UK’s leading independent alternative communication network provider,” said Kevin.
Roy Shelton, CEO of ITS Tech, said:
“We are thrilled to have been able to attract Kevin as an investor and also have him join ITS as our new Chairman. The growth we have experienced over the past two years has been phenomenal. As we continue to scale at pace Kevin brings a whole new level of drive and energy to ensure we focus on becoming a world class network infrastructure and managed services company.
On behalf of the whole company, I also want to thank Paul Ruocco, who has now stepped down as Chairman for his support over the past 4yrs. I look forward to continuing to work with Paul as an advisor and mentor to our team.”
The move comes shortly after ITS appointed Pip Shelton to be their new Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).
