Shropshire-based UK ISP Aquiss has launched a new discount on their unlimited Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based superfast home broadband packages, which offers them at half price for the first 6 months of service.

Hampshire-based UK ISP Onestream has sharply reduced the price of their Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC / VDSL2) based 35Mbps – average download speed – unlimited broadband and phone line rental package to just £19.95 per month for the first 12 months of service (£34.99 a month thereafter).

It’s that time of the year again, when UK ISPs get in on the Black Friday action by offering all sorts of discounts to new customers. Kicking off the event a bit early today is BT, which has cut their unlimited 50Mbps (average) “Superfast Fibre” (FTTC/P) and phone package to just £29.99 per month, but there’s more.

The Post Office’s ISP division will later today remove the unlimited UK weekend phone calls plan from their various broadband packages and replace it with a time-limited offer of 3 months free Anytime Plus UK calls (+£10 a month thereafter). Anyone who still wants free weekend calls will need to pay +£2 extra.

Low cost UK ISP Plusnet appears to have extended their £50 cashback cheques to both of their FTTC based unlimited superfast broadband and phone line rental packages, which currently start at £23.99 per month for an average speed of 36Mbps and £28.99 for an average of 66Mbps.

New customers who sign-up for one of BT’s standard “Superfast Fibre Broadband” (FTTC/P) and phone packages are now being offered a “FREE” Fitbit Charge 3 activity tracker smartwatch (RRP £129.99). On top of that they’ll also get a Prepaid Mastercard, which on some deals can be worth up to £90.

Internet and UK web hosting provider Freeola has launched a new limited time offer, which will give new customers three months of “totally free” broadband but only if they pay for a full year in advance. The deal appears to be available across all of their internet access services (ADSL, FTTC, FTTP and G.fast).

The Post Office has today said that they will launch a new promotion, which should reduce the monthly price of their standard unlimited broadband (11Mbps average download speed) and phone line bundle to just £15.90 for the first 12 months of service (£29 per month thereafter). The setup fee will also become free.

Cable ISP Virgin Media Business UK has begun offering their “Voom Fibre” 350Mbps unlimited ultrafast business broadband service “free” for the first six months of service, but there’s a catch. You also have to take a selected Apple or Samsung handset alongside one of their pricey mobile plans.

Cable broadband and TV operator Virgin Media UK are for a limited time offering their VIVID 108Mbps ultrafast broadband and phone package at just £29 per month for the first 12 months of service (£47 per month thereafter) to new customers, but this promotion is only available to order until 30th September 2018.

Low cost UK ISP TalkTalk has today further discounted the special offer prices of their residential focused broadband and phone bundles. One of the biggest reductions is on their 63Mbps FTTC based “Faster Fibre Large” package, which has fallen from £28.50 a month to just £25 for 18 months of service.

UK ISP Sky Broadband appears to have enhanced their existing package discounts for new customers by introducing a £100 reward card (Prepaid Mastercard), which is available across all three of their primary unlimited broadband (ADSL, FTTC) and phone line rental bundles.

Energy provider and ISP First Utility (Shell) has slashed the price of their 35Mbps and 63Mbps (average speed) FTTC based home broadband and line rental (phone) packages for the first 18 months of service, which will be available to new customers who make an order before 24th August 2018.

Until next week ISP Sky Broadband has removed the £50 activation fee from their FTTC (VDSL2) based 36Mbps Sky Fibre Unlimited and 63Mbps Sky Fibre Max broadband and phone bundles. On top of that they’ve also reduced the monthly price of their standard 11Mbps Sky Unlimited package to £18.

Sky’s sibling ISP and video streaming service, NOW TV (NOW Broadband), has reduced the price of their 11Mbps “Brilliant Broadband” (ADSL), 36Mbps “Fat Fibre” and 63Mbps “Super Fibre” (FTTC / VDSL2) packages to just £15, £20 and £25 per month respectively on a 12 month contract.
