Vodafone UK Make 4G Mobile Roaming Available to 101 Destinations

Mobile operator Vodafone has announced that their customers in the United Kingdom can now enjoy 4G (LTE) roaming in over 100 destinations around the world (i.e. use your calls, texts and data allowance abroad), which is more than any other Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in the country.

The latest additions to the list include Argentina, the Bahamas, the Channel Islands, India, Jamaica and many more (see below for a full list). As usual existing 4G customers can take advantage of this by paying from £3 a day for the EuroTraveller add-on or £5 a day for WorldTraveller; the latter of which obviously applies to non-EU countries.

We should point out that EuroTraveller for PAYG customers includes a 100MB per day data limit, meanwhile it’s only available for Pay monthly bundles bought before 5th May 2016. The reason for the latter is because all new Pay Monthly 12 & 24 month Red and Red Value bundle customers get inclusive roaming by default, which is essentially the same as the EuroTraveller add-on.

Similarly all Red and Red Value Bundles bought from 5th May 2016 are automatically opted-in to WorldTraveller. For all other bundles, text ADD to 40508 or call 5555 free from your Vodafone mobile to opt in. However roaming data usage (Mobile Broadband) on Pay Monthly plans is limited to 4GB (GigaBytes) per month.
